Spring Song

Spring Yearning

.

Spring has come without fanfare or fleet;

Its advent for the year is quietly complete.

But, yet, I can feel a change in the air—

The bubbling spring and the wind in my hair,

The chirping of birds as they make their new home.

Today, I could take the whole earth for to roam!

.

Wanderlust comes on me again with my favorite season—oh, that I had wings and could go where I pleased!
